The 10th and 11th of May 2015, the Immunopathology and Medicinal Chemistry laboratory of the CNRS and the University of Strasbourg, Faculty of Medicine will organize the first French conference dedicated exclusively to Lupus.
Held in Strasbourg, France, the conference registration is free for patients, who just need to sign-up.
The message from the organizers, professors Sylviane Muller (Director of the CNRS Immunopathology and Medicinal Chemistry laboratory) & Jean Sibilia (Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, University of Strasbourg), is,
“At present, there is no specific treatment for LED. Immunosuppressive and anti-inflammatory type drugs are generally used to alleviate symptoms and relieve pain. Note however that today new therapeutic approaches are proposed, more specific and hence generating fewer side effects. We are betting that these new approaches will significantly improve the quality of life of patients.
Doctors, researchers, patient associations and patients, this day is dedicated to you!”
