We hereby provide you with important information on two specific LUPUS EUROPE events if direct interest to you: (1) The European Survey on sunscreen application lead by Prof. Annegret Kuhn, MD, and (2) the LUPUS EUROPE council session of October 2.
SUNSCREEN STUDY
The aim of the observational study “Sunscreens in Patients with Lupus Erythematosus (SmiLE)” is to investigate the type of sunscreen applied by patients with lupus erythematosus and their efficacy in daily life. LUPUS EUROPE contributes to this project which won the Galderma SKIN PACT Award 2015 in the category “Leadership Community”. The online questionnaire is designed in 20 European languages, and we would like your support to have it filled out by as many patients as possible with any type of lupus erythematosus. So please do forward the following link to your members and lupus patients for their participation in this project:

COUNCIL SESSION
On October 2, we will hold our Council session, closing our 27th LUPUS EUROPE convention in Wuerzburg. Detailed information has now been sent to all registered participants. Unfortunately, not all our members will be represented. We thought it was relevant to keep everyone informed of the convention and council agendas, as well as council pre-reading information, which you will find at this link ( http://lupus-europe.eu/members-area/conventions/wuerzburg-2016/article/wuerzburg-convention-details ). If you cannot access the member section of LUPUS EUROPE website, or have forgotten your passcode, please contact the secretariat so that we update your access.
By statute, all members are entitled to participate to the council. While our registrations are closed for the convention, if you have not registered and wish to attend the council session, please get urgently in contact with the secretariat (secretariat@lupus-europe.org) so that we seel a solution together.
