"Lupus in Life" - 6th celebration of World Lupus Day will be on May 11th at Rigshospitalet (Copenhagen University Hospital) 13.00-17.00 Auditorium 1.

This year the celebration will focus on clinical aspects of lupus - the proposal to have consensus on a definition on lupus flares, personal SLE Activity scores can be of value to the person as well as valuable part of the clinical picture for further reference, and "You cannot avoid life" is the title of a special presentation focusing on existential issues when living with lupus. Presenters are Dr. Anne Voss PhD, Odense University Hospital, and Karoline Lerang, doctor and SLE-researcher from Rikshospitalet i Oslo, Norway, and Reumatology nurse Janni Lisander, PhD, Rigshospitalet, Denmark. As per tradition this day will end by an udate on activities World-Wide and in particular in Europe and the song "So this is Lupus".

Lupus Erythematodes Selbsthilfegemeinschaft e.V., Germany Germany

The Lupus Foundation Germany celebrates WLD and their 25th anniversary on May 7th in Düsseldorf
with info desks to different lupus topics like "Lupus and men", "JuLE: Young people with lupus", etc.

Other info desks are planned throughout Germany (Dresden, Neu-Ulm, Recklinghausen, Leipzig, Mainz, Rostock, Würzburg, etc.)
including our famous balloon event "40,000 balloons for 40,000 lupus patients in Germany".

The "2nd German Lupus Day of Sciences" will take place in Bad Nauheim.
Invited to this medical symposium are all lupologists, rheumatologists and other professionals.

LUPUS FRANCE France

Television program with Lupus France on May 10th about Therapeutic Education.  
The program will be filmed in the Pitié Salpêtrière hospital in Paris.  
Professors  Zahir Amoura (Internal Medicine) and Jean Sibilia (Rheumatology) will take part in the program.
One of Lupus France's supporters, Bathilde, who is treated in Saint Antoine hospital, will also be interviewed at the invitation of Lupus France.
